In the first ACC game in the history of the Petersen Events Center, the Pitt Panthers had their hands full with Maryland for much of the night. The Penguins welcomed back two more of their star players, but threw out the defense in a 6-5 victory over the Winnipeg Jets, Sunday afternoon. Evgeni Malkin scored twice and added an assist in his first game since exiting Detroit with a lower body injury on December 14th. Kris Letang returned from an elbow infection to add an assist.
