For the second consecutive year, the NFL Draft came and went without a Pitt Panthers player hearing his name called. Running back Ray Graham had the best chance of being drafted, but he had to sit by and wait as running back after running back went off the board during the third day of the draft, but never heard his name called. It's not the worst thing though for Graham and other former Panthers that has aspirations of playing in the NFL. Sometimes going undrafted benefits the player ... Read More

Neal’s hat trick routes Carolina
If this was James Neal's idea of a tuneup game before the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Penguins should be in excellent shape. Neal missed eight games with a concussion after getting elbowed in the head by Michael Del Zotto on April 5th. Sporting a new tinted visor, Neal scored a hat trick as the Penguins ended the 2013 truncated regular season on a high note with an 8-3 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. Yinzer of the Week: Gaby Sanchez
The Pirates have been red hot lately, winning five of their seven games this past week. The only game in which the Pirates allowed more than four runs was last night against the St Louis Cardinals. A big part of their success has been the bats that have come alive. One of those bats just happens to be our Yinzer of the Week, Gaby Sanchez.
