Big Macs of the Week: Canon-McMillan Wrestling Team
Wrestling in the state of Pennsylvania is a big deal. And for the Cannon-McMillan wrestling team, bragging rights are due. At the Class AAA WPIAL/ Southwest Regional wrestling tournament, the Big Macs were dominant. Senior Solomon Chishko, a wrestler at the 145-pound weight class, took home his fourth WPIAL title. Mercyhurst, Slippery Rock advance in PSAC Tournament
In first round action of the PSAC Tournament Saturday, Mercyhurst and Slippery Rock each advanced to the quarterfinals. Mercyhurst beat Cal U by a slim margin of 54-50. Jean Onana led the way for the Lakers, posting 19 points in the win. Anthony Lytle also had 16 points for Mercyhurst. In another close game, Slippery Rock downed Seton Hill, 68-65.
