Despite the New York Rangers playing their third game in four days, they soundly defeated the Penguins 5-2 in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon. Cal U mourning loss of women’s basketball player
Students, athletes, fans, coaches and members of the Cal U community woke to the news that women's basketball player Shanice Clark had passed Sunday morning around 4 a.m. Clark, a 6-foot senior forward from Toronto, Ontario, was reportedly found unresponsive in her apartment on campus early Sunday morning. The Penn State Nittany Lions (11-7-3, 5-2-1 Big Ten) split a two-game home series against the Michigan State Spartans (7-11-2, 1-3-2 Big Ten) this weekend at Pegula Ice Arena in University Park. The Pittsburgh Pirates avoided arbitration with nine players prior to Friday's deadline, but still have to go to arbitration hearings with three others.
