It didn’t take very long for former Pitt swingman Durand Johnson to find himself a new home. Johnson officially transferred to St. Johns on Wednesday, following former Pitt assistant coach Barry Rohrssen to the Red Storm, where he will suit up for new St. John’s head coach Chris Mullin. McCutchen records 1,000th career hit in victory
Andrew McCutchen had been waiting for a while to get a significant hit and it came in the sixth inning on Wednesday night when he recorded his first triple of the season.
