Tangradi: “Sometimes I felt like I had a short leash out there.”
Tonight, the Penguins will be back in Winnipeg to take on the Jets for the second time this season. They also will be taking on an old friend as well. Newly acquired winger Eric Tangradi will play his first game in a Jets uniform against his former team, and he had a lot to say about them after the Jets’ morning skate today. "It's like running into your ex at the bar the next night," Tangradi said. Tangradi told the Post-Gazette’s Dave Molinari that “Sometimes I felt like I had a short ... Read More
Stern includes Pittsburgh on short list of possible NBA expansion cities
The talk gets thrown around every year about whether or not a NBA franchise could succeed in Pittsburgh. Pitt’s Steven Adams resembling legitimate NBA prospect
Coming into the season many felt that incoming Pitt freshman center Steven Adams could be a one-and-done type of player. Adams had the attention of many NBA scouts before he even played a game in a Pitt uniform and given his size and massive wingspan, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him head for the greener pastures after only one season of collegiate ball. But things didn't exactly start that way for Adams as early in the season he resembled a lost freshman, much more than he did a ... Read More

Is Rashard Mendenhall Still an Option for the Steelers?
The Steelers are heading into the off-season with multiple holes to fill, but one of the most important positions they need to address is running back. Pittsburgh has spent multiple draft picks in the last three drafts on the offensive line in hopes of protecting Ben Roethlisberger and opening lanes in the running game. Now with a young offensive line and a new blocking scheme, there is some optimism that the Steelers could return to their old ways of running the ball. Todd Haley had a solid ... Read More
