PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates today acquired right-handed pitcher Vance Worley from the Minnesota Twins for cash considerations in a minor league deal. The announcement was made by Pirates Senior Vice President, General Manager Neal Huntington. During his morning press conference, Pens' head coach Dan Bylsma announced that Evgeni Malkin will miss 2-3 weeks with a foot injury. Malkin sustained the injury on his first shift in Sunday's game. The Pirates announced on Monday that they will wear a patch on their jerseys with the number 4 on it in memory of the great Ralph Kiner, who passed away on Feburary 6th at his home in Ranco Mirage, California.
