The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are adding to their roster non-stop. Only a day after exercising an option to keep leading scorer Corey Hertzog for the 2017 season, the Riverhounds signed striker Devaughn Elliott. Elliott, who is from the West Indies island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, started his career in 2009 with the club Positive Vibes. He didn't record a single cap with the club and wouldn’t record any caps with Village Superstars, where he spent time from 2010-13. However, ... Read More

The Pittsburgh Panthers men’s basketball team got a much-needed win over the University of Buffalo Bulls on Wednesday night, especially after Pitt failed to defeat the Duquesne Dukes in the “City Game.” The Panthers beat the Bulls, 84-79. At another point, the Panthers were up 47-21 before the Bulls outscored the Panthers 58-37 over the rest of the ... Read More

Three up, three down: Steelers vs. Giants
So much for the demise of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The win was paced by a defense that has allowed just four touchdowns over that three game span, and the win put the team in a tie with the Baltimore Ravens for the division lead. Steelers put on commanding performance in win over Giants
While it might be the Pittsburgh Penguins who play in PPG Paints Arena, it was the Pittsburgh Steelers who painted the field Sunday afternoon — specifically with the colors green and brown. That is, tight end Ladarius Green and wide receiver Antonio Brown. Green had the first 100-yard-plus game of his career (110 yards) and had a touchdown (his first in the black and gold), and Brown added a touchdown and had six receptions for 54 yards. The two receivers helped propel Pittsburgh to a ... Read More
